Nepenthes Sumatrana is a beautiful lowland Sumatran nepenthes that produces red, striped tubby pitchers. Since Sumatrana grows up to 800m in the Sibolga hills, it is possible to grow this as an intermediate. I have grown them in highland, but growth is slow and they hate the winter. Each plant is from a random selection of two clones. This species grows best in an inorganic media.
