Frequently Asked Questions

When will "insert plant name" be available?

Unfortunately it can be hard to give an accurate answer. Some plants take longer than expected, whereas some might be ready sooner than we thought. I receive many messages asking about this, please understand I cannot reply to all of them. I recommend using scripts or site scrapers to notify you when a plant is in stock. Due to high demand, the website notifier only works about 50% of the time.

What is the difference between ISC and RSC?

ISC stands for Individually Selected Clone. It is basically the same meaning as "seed grown". Plants that are labeled ISC are germinated in tissue culture, but are deflasked and hardened off instead of being cloned. This often occurs when a new plant is released, as there are often far too many seedlings in tissue culture to clone all of them.

RSC stands for "Randomly Selected Clone". Before the clones are appropriately labeled (i.e. clone 1,2...etc. ) the plants are labeled as this.

Can you export?

I do not currently export but we are looking into it. The CITES export process for the US market is incredibly challenging. For those interested, the entire process takes about a year and costs ~$300 for the CITES permits.
