This is a pretty interesting ventricosa type from Mt. Guiwan (1600m). The intermediate/lower pitchers develop a more squat shape with a broader, flared peristome (1st image). The upper pitchers appear more gourd-shaped with a less flared peristome.
Oddly this Ventricosa has grown quite terribly in pure sphagnum moss for me, but grows well in coco chips. I suspect the coco chips offer a similar substrate to their natural environment as many of the plants on Mt. Guiwan were growing epiphytically or growing terrestrially on rotting branches.
Each plant is from the same clone, about 1-1.5" in diameter. Plant will be shipped potted priority.
